Hi all,

As I've got kids and no time at all to code everything from scratch I was looking at RAD solutions like 3DRAD and Unity3D.

I looked at marks worklog and it looks as though blitzmax is taking this direction.

If so count me in. I want something like that. Is there a beta test programme I can sign up to?

my email is hippocoder@... , I would like to sign up and test it.

I think most of us would like to get a taste of what marks doing but i dont think thats the way he does things, at least he hasn't in the past. I think the norm is internal testing only

If you're looking at making a platformer or simple RPG or 2D game, I'd take a good look at Multimedia Fusion 2.

This game is being made with it (a mighty impressive looking game - this would be the extent of what is possible in MMF2 I think, anything more and it'd be easier to code in a 'real' language)

For those click-n-build stuff theres : Torque Game Builder, and Game Maker, and of course 3D Gamestudio. I haven't tried it yet but you can also check out Beyond Virtual.
